Top Ten Tuesday: Book Settings

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful ladies over at

This week, the topic is...
Top Ten Settings I'd Like To See More Of

An awesome setting can take you away from the real world and to some far away place.  A setting can make or break a book.  Here are some places that I would like to see more books take me to!

A dance studio (AKA my happy place)
Alaska
Iceland
Siberia (oh, VA...)
Holland
St. Petersburg
My city (that would be fun!)
Saskatchewan (why are there no books set in the prairies?)
Underwater
Other planets (with or without aliens)

So, any recommendations for me?  :-D

Much love, Samantha

  1. Apparently you want to read books set in cold places! It must be this cold front!

  3. Oo Alaska is a good one! I didn't have it on my list but I do enjoy reading books set there. I feel like I am in some of these locations today with our -20 degree weather! :)

  4. Iceland would definitely be an interesting one! I'm also loving the idea of other planets. Great list!

  6. There are probably few/no books written in Saskatchewan because that place can be incredibly boring. I know, I've drove through it twice, there's just nothing out there.
